Lifehouse “Everything” Skit

Posted by Chris on Wednesday, October 24th, 2007

This video is pretty amazing.  There are a number of these versions on youtube.  But I think this is the best I have found so far.  Greg over at Church Video Ideas posted this.  Makes me cry every time I watch it.

    Hello there.

I stumbled upon this website, and decided to check it out. You and I seemingly have alot in common. I cried watching the Lifehouse video. It really hit home with me. Just to relize that God wants to take on my burdens and hurts is just an amazing thing. I also reside in Pennsylvania. I live in the Perkasie area. Are you a member of Calvery in Souderton? I’m always looking for good christian friends in the area.

    God Bless
    Jeff

Hi Jeff. Thanks for commenting. Yea this video is really cool. I have seen a bit of these type of skits that don’t really portray it all. I love how as the music picks up she starts running. She’s doing all she can to get to Christ. But everything is just pulling her back. It isn’t till Christ steps in and “blocks” all those things that she finds freedom. I find it interesting that we think we can do it. That we find favor in God’s eyes and that its about us “making” that relationship. That certainly is not the case. Glad it was a blessing to you.

I actually am not a member of Calvary in Souderton, but have visited twice. I actually live about a hour south of there. I know Dan Harney from a old band (Psalm 5) who attends there (I’m the one who posted the video on youtube.) I also know Tim Milner, I meet him when he was the worship pastor in NJ, I was at another concert (Matt Brouwer) at the church he was at. He and the band invited me over for dinner. Great guy and was totally cool that he did that. Thanks for commenting. Take care.
